Welcome to both new folks here.

I like this idea too, if reasonably priced-- which probably means as an aftermarket purchase at well below original offering price. It's kind of neat to have a coin from each century in one place with some background. Sure, it's possible to research this on one's own but it would probably take a while.

I assume that a 'net search on the terms "Franklin Mint" + "Millenium Collection" or something similar didn't find anything useful-- I didn't get anything either. But to me that (C) FM in the images says "Franklin Mint."

Taiwan. Brings me back to my first thought that the whole is a crafted unit, coins and all, Granted, it might be easy and inexpensive to get and use real coins but it would be equally easy to craft the coins, as well. Additionally, the coins would be of uniform quality (the best that could be copied) and the most representative of what might be available.

Whatever the facts may be, it's one INTERESTING unit and has a whole heck of a lot of appeal to me....and, well, I could add to it. :)
