[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]Bought this pure silver coin two months ago and it came nice and clean. Last week I noticed a bright circular spot which I believe to be a milk spot, and a tiny dark spot in the middle of it. Do you recognize this kind of spot? I know you shouldn't clean your coins but I'm afraid the coin lost of its value and it annoys me very much. Also, these spots are on a very rough surface and not on the proof surface of the coin so I'm thinking about giving it a chance but I don't know how. What do you advice?

A milk spot will be white. This is similar but it was caused by some foreign substance.

I understand, thanks for your respond. I think I will try to get rid of it very gently with 100% acetone.

Hopefully that will work. Rinse throughly and dry well without rubbing. Best wishes.
