Since he specialized in rainbow toned coins, there will always be a toning premium associated with them, but I highly doubt anyone would pay a premium just because they were part of his inventory. Provenance premiums should be limited to famous collectors, not dealars, IMO.
I personally would not pay a premium for a coin from a high profile collection. Now, if somebody could show me the provenance of Doc Holliday once gambling with a Particular Morgan..... Well that’s a different story!
Im noticing your avatar OP. Very nice !!! Hmmmmmm Boy would I like to see a good picture of the front and back with the grade included As to your question no, certain hoard coins are all just fluff in my opinion too
Doc Holiday didn't own it unfortunately. I know of 3 people including myself who have owned it. DeFalco, my father, myself. I could honestly see this being in one of his pedigree collections.
Sorry for saying, but the photog skills need a bit of upgrade..........wash out white most disappointing.
I'm not a professional photographer so I'm not sure what pride in my work you are referring to?? I'm confused.
The 'wash out' white.......you can eliminate that with proper function. Proof read your photogs, and only select the best.
