Mid Term Grades

    Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
    Here is one of my fave coins. Its not just a large cent over 200 years old, but these are very hard to find in any kind of decent condition, because the planchets are low grade and they wore quickly.
    So, any comments? Grade, color, authenticity?

    Is it a s-285 ?? Good look large cent!

    I don't know the Sheldon numbers.
    is it worth getting the book?

    VF25. Nice color, better than average planchet.

    That’s a seriously nice looking coin! The OP is correct that the Classic Head cents were soft planchets and most of them took a beating.
