Hello, I recently purchased a decent microscopic camera the other day, it comes with a base and a stand and is very nice and solid but it does not go up anywhere far enough to get a full picture of the coins which is why I wanted it, I also went to the local hardware stores and could not find anything that would work and also asked a few of the associates and they also had no ideas. Anyone have advice where they got there’s? I did find a few but the stands were well over what I paid for the camera. Thank you in advance!
This stand adjusts to about 7 inches and fits a variety of cameras. $21.00 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0797PPX8D/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Any stand you get must put the camera high enough to get the large coins light silver dollars. Hold your camera above a silver dollar and see what it takes to get the entire coin. My set up is below. The stand that came with the camera was not tall enough. But, an older one I had was. The silver dollar is one the platform below the camera and the image is on my desk top monitor.
I saw this one but it’s about the same size that came with mine :/ I tried to Jimmy rig a tripod but that didn’t work.. lol
That’s a nice setup! The only issue is the stands I found were more expensive or not high enough for this cam, may return it..
