Metal Detectors (again).

Man I'd love to get one, but they're a lot more expensive than I thought.

my parents wont let me have it but when i get my own house and stuff i'll get a metal detector but when u first buy it does it have instructions on how u can tell what is what when u find something?

I've had pretty good luck and a lot of fun with a Discovery 3300 from Radio Shack. It's a fairly good detector and a fairly inexpensive way to find out if you really like the hobby.

As for finding stuff 21 inches down, I don't think I want to dig that much. As soon as a hobby turns into work, it becomes a former hobby.
