Instead of getting a good repeatable signal from each direction of the coil sweep, a got a fair signal one way (only 1 not 3) and no signal from the other direction. It wasn&#039;t buried but it was far down in some new wood chips. When I moved the target to the surface then I got a very strong repeatable signal. I brush the chips away and I was pleasantly surprised to see a dollar coin. It had to be standing on edge.
