The first site I pop the dollar coin. There were several targets at a few sites I just couldn’t dig because the ground was frozen. The next site was one of my old sites that had been closed for for renovation, and the finds were OK. I find the silver medallion at the next site (I found another exactly like it). The next spot I had to skip last time because of a homeless encampment, it was OK and another surface find. (In the park, but I didn’t need the detector.)I cut the Saturday hunt short, because I only had a few scroungy spots left and I will just do them in warmer weather. Sunday still cold in the AM but a little warmer than Sat. Sunday went well, the ground was not perma frosted and there were a lot of targets. Happy with this hunt considering the first 2 of the year were brutal. The wheatie was fried so I cleaned it up to  pull a date 1953-S.[ATTACH=full]1701872[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]
