I didn't test it, it is stamped .925, and I checked the seller online, Piercing Pagoda, and the net says it should be real. This was stamped 14K. But it was really dirty and I just wasn't able to clean it at all. I took it to my gold guy who said it was fake, some brass and copper, but it cleaned it with nitric oxide and it looks great. He cleaned one other piece I have a bracelet stamped 14K but it's brass, but after he cleaned it with the nitric acid, it looks great. Here are the 2 fake 14K Italy stamps and then the bracelet. Now this was very exciting, besides the 2 dol coins, my first gold ever.
