I got my 1929 at the same spot when I popped a Native American dollar and my Eisenhower. That's not a Sac, let me look for the reverse.
Not including when I have found cash or gold, this was a great hunt. I found almost 200 targets, the hunt didn't even take a long time. It's great when you get tired from picking up money. I've had that happen a few times.
That's what happened to me the other day,i didn't even have to dig just pick it up. Maybe 10 targets I had to dig.
Yes and the surface finds are great when the detector doesn't even go off and you see a quarter lying there. But sometimes after digging 100+ (small) holes, and picking up a coin you get tired. But there is no way I am stopping until all the good targets are gone. When it gets like that I won't "dig" zincs. If they are just in the wood chips OK, and if I get a good signal I will dig a copper penny because it could be a wheatie, or, sometimes it turns out to be something else. But I have left zincs behind and I dig them another time when the action isn't as good. But 3 or 4 times I have gotten tired from picking up money. That's the best kind of tired there is.
Need to find someone named Karl. Miscellaneous non valuable stuff. These brass globs on the left side are pretty cool. Weird stuff my GF kept from my hunts. A tiny cent facsimile. Religious stuff. Chains. Plated and other nice non precious metal rings. You can see the dolphin mood ring lower right. Rings. I gave many away and my GF kept some of the nice copper ones. Although I did go through these junkers twice and found silver rings I had missed. Miscellaneous crap. Jar of crap.
Missing a lot of stuff. Foreign coins, fidget spinners, arcade tokens. Because I have given a lot of these things away. I have a fake arrowhead, with a small fake Indian Head penny in it. 2nd photo but it's blurry. It's just for laughs, and all of the good stuff (gold, silver, dollar coins) already posted. People seem to like all this bizarre stuff. I leave some stuff behind sometimes especially keys, I will put it in a prominent place or on a bench so if someone comes back who lost it, they can see it and take it back. Toy cars. At first I was leaving them. Then my friends son wanted them so I mailed him a bunch of those a few times. And after a while he didn't so I don't take them.
All i can say is WOW,that is alot of rings.m y wife would love MD if i came home with that kind of stuff. I have to bribe her to go out lol.
There were a lot more rings, but I gave them away (the junkers). I tried to pick out some of the nice ones and sent them to a woman I know and her daughter. Because I showed her the metal detecting finds photos, and she was like: "Oh I like that ring." So I sent her a bunch of them. She wears them at work, and she works at Macy's back office.
Oh that's nice. Congrats. I've never put my Ike away with all my other dollar coins. It's right by the mouse pad.
This was a good one today. I went for an hour Sat and got 15% of the swag. Less than 3 hours today. A dollar coin and the ring is stainless steel. I have 4 of those and this is my 2nd SPIKE'S stainless steel (is the stamp inside the ring).
Very nice ring,i love black rings. I'm putting my bag together now to go out. I'm feeling lucky today,i hope mine is half as good as yours. Im going for 100, wish me luck!
