I've got my new rig hooked up, but I don't really have any good spots to hit right now. I've done the add media thing, and I was able to add it to PMs, but now, I can't remember how to do it. It asks me to put stuff in an album and when I do, I can't access it in the PM.
The supermarket by me doesn't have any quarters (pandemic shortage etc.) so I told them I have quarters. They just took $500 and they want another $500 next week. I have $1600 in jars, they will prob take them all.
They took another $500. I only have $600 left. I asked them about nickels and dimes, maybe they will take some of those. Massive cash photo when they are all cashed in.
Hello everybody, Ive been in some bad times for the past 2 months. My rig has been broken and I tried to fix it but I can't find the problem. But as soon as I can get this fixed I'll be back out finding some good stuff. I did find a silver dime and I'm pretty sure a lamination error on a quarter.
My day went unexpected. Went to the local park and I get a hit on my detector. I dug 1.5 feet down and pull out something I couldnt believe. A 1861 hyde and goodrich louisiana civil war button.
It seems as if the store doesn't need my change anymore. Here's the $1000. I was hoping they would take the other $600 as well as almost $500 in dimes and over $100 in nickels. I could go to the credit union, but that's more work than this.
They called me from the store and took my last $600 in quarters. I cashed in 6400 quarters, $1600. I keep asking them about the nickels and dimes, I think they want them, but they don't have the wrappers for them right now.
Possible good hunt news. Back in March I pulled this chain, which I thought was junk. But my GF said, it might be real, I'll get it tested. The clasp says 925 so she thinks the chain is real and the other part could be silver wire. She's going tomorrow to the test place.
So because of you know what, there has been a slow down in the treasure fields. I have something set up for Sunday, but my hopes are set for a couple of hunts in November as some outlying areas are going back to school. Which gave me time to update my halves. The very first one (upper left) I got 25 years ago but all the rest I got from 2016-date.
I should be receiving the Garrett Ace Apex tomorrow. Very excited to see what is hiding in the ground around here.
It started out as if I wasn't even going to make my gas as the first 2 spots were beat and a couple more spots were beats. But the 3rd spot which is usually good had a 16 quarter spill and 19 total. Another mini spill later. Around 5 of the spots were very good. There were a lot of surface finds. In 4 parking lots next to my car, an earring, a penny, 35 cents and a penny. And 2 surface dimes during the hunt. 5 Weir quarters and 3 Samoa bats but no W's.
