It was under/near a set of swings ( the 3 Sacs), I had gotten a half earlier that day, and those are tough cause they are large and no one has them to lose.
Found a bunch of those at first I was leaving them behind, then I was sending some to a friend of mine and his kids. I kept one. Solid brass. Took it apart cleaned it out, (dust and dirt etc.) WD 40, put it back together, and now it spins like crazy.
With those solid balls on the end I bet it goes forever. I like finding the cars too, cleaning them and stuff.I have 4 now. Only one still has the wheels though lol.
Went out this morning. I searched a 100 sq ft area, and my hand shovel broke had to call it a day. The first wheat for me in a while.
Found another small silver ring today. It was a very good hunt, but they are locking up my good spots 1 by 1.
I found another ring in my junker pile. It is stamped 925 EC but I think it's good. The 925 is upside down at 12 o'clock.
I have found a few MK's. They are "Michael Kors" Found the photo of the giant ring it's in the back on the right size 14.
Ive been very sick for the last week and haven't been able to go anywhere. But i did get my microscope in the mail and have been playing around with it. I can say it does work better then my phone lol.
Nice little scrounge today. The wheatie is 1947-D undamaged. The medallion says: 40th anniversary of commercial aviation in Albuquerque. 1929-1969. So if it really is from 1969, that's kind of cool. Although when I pulled it up I was hoping it was an Eisenhower.
It wasn't too dirty but I did use toothpaste. IDK what it is, copper or brass. I will try to look it up. The penny which looked nice was damaged on the reverse. w/e Wow someone wants $22.50 for it on Etsy. Oh that's Lindbergh, duh. It says bronze. OK here we go. $15 buy it now EBAY. There is an auction it's starting at $3.50. No bids. Another $15.50 OBO free shipping. Another $12 free shipping, shinier than mine. Should I try Brasso? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...y+commercial+aviation+Albuquerque&_sacat=3454
