Dollar coin and a silver quarter. My GF found 2 fives at the park this morning walking the dog.

Had to switch from Windows 7 to Windows 10, loaded my camera program it worked for a day. Now it's a zombie.
Great hunt today too. Tons of stuff. Dollar coin #98. Stainless steel ring.
Tried to fix the software it won't do it. Tried to uninstall the software, it won't do it. Found an upgrade for the software, it won't complete it.
    Not happy.
Found 68 quarters today. 145 targets total. (20 dimes, 8 nickels, 36 pennies and some miscellaneous stuff.)
And they locked up another school. 4 of them locked in this rotation, or this would have been a record hunt.

Found this “collection” of objects while metal detecting several years ago. Oddly, did not find any coins that day.

I found a 20 2 days ago at the park. But still no silver coins for me. My hunts have been small and sporadic here lately. I wish I could get out as much as I wanted to. But I still enjoy looking everyone's stuff let me tell you it keeps me going.

No highlights. However, I was able to get into a spot that has been locked for years, so that was good.

I'm glad you got into one of your locked places. They locked one of my places up over the weekend. I just found the place about 2 months ago. But I did get to go for alittle bit and hit a nice little spill.

What kind of machine are you using? If you don't mind me asking?

    Wow another awesome hunt!!

The ring was stamped stainless. Happy with the dollar and all the quarters.
That spot used to be one of my best spots, and 4 of the places are perma locked.
Used to be 3 and now there's 1 more. Could have been a record if I was inside.

Have you ever thought about asking them why? I thought about it but never did. Because 2 of my spots have been locked in the last 6 months. But I've found a few places to go instead, but not as big and not as much traffic.

Most of them used to be open. Now 1 by 1 they are putting up new fences and gates and locks and chains with my tax money to keep me out of the playground on Sunday. The money for the schools don't go to the kids or for education where we have been 49th in the country for the 20 years we have been here, it goes to the fence company. "OH WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE KIDS!" Trying to get everything I can because one day it's all going to be over. I could climb over the fence, it's not high, but I don't want to do that. I prefer the gate to be open. Sometimes the locked ones are left unlocked.
But that's rare and there's no guarantee I'm going to be on that one, that day.

I had an older model like that,I just couldn't get it right. So I purchased a very cheap one that worked really well for me. I then used what I found in modern change to purchase a better one. Sometimes I like the cheaper one better,it targets great and has a small coil for those hard to get places.

I understand what you mean. I bought mine used for $35. Still works great. Used it last winter to locate a well that was covered with 5” of ice.

101 dollar coins. Really fun one today. The foreign coin is 50 pesos from
    Chile 1981.
