Metal detecting, oldest U.S coin!!!!

    Howdy all! Wanted to share my latest metal detecting find. My oldest u.s coin to date and it's silver. 1909 p Barber dime. Just beat out my previous oldest by one year. It was a 1910 wheat cent.     I went some kinda crazy. I had just dug a deep Illinois quarter about 5 inches. Then another target rite beside it. okay probably another modern coin then I flipped the plug and it was staring rite at me one dime side up. When i finally calmed down enough to look again i said omg seated or Barber? Still grinning!!

    Very cool. Makes you wonder who dropped it and how long it sat there before you came along.
