Hi everyone, It was a cold Saturday so it wasn't good for Metal Detecting at all. Too dangerous and the area of the park where I found the 6 silvers and 10 Indian Head Cents last week was kind of muddy at the time so that only means one thing.. Frozen Ground! There's no way to dig in frozen dirt! But I wanted to share something interesting that occurred to me on the 2 previous detecting hunts before last week. I tried a new location called Forrest Park and on that day my very first coin was a Bicentennial Quarter. The following Saturday I went to Highland Park and again my very first coin was another Bicentennial Quarter. What are the chances of that happening? I call that a COINcidence! Here are both of them. One in good shape and the other with a bit of environmental exposure toning. I will definitely detect this next Saturday since the weekly temperature is rising up to the lower 50's for NYC This was me yesterday, Saturday
I always say when things like this happen,go by a lotto ticket!!and all your detecting dreams will come true.
