Metal Detecting - I LOVE YOU Trifecta of Silver Dimes!

    Trifecta meaning in Metal Detecting - Usually for silver coins, finding 3 coins of different series but of the same denomination.

    Hello everyone,
    Today I did a 4 hour Metal Detecting hunt at Brooklyn's McCarren Park.

    This Trifecta of 3 Silver Dimes brings my total of 60 silver coins found in NYC for 2024 :woot:

    The weather is absolutely wonderful out. I cut my trip short because I needed to take my daughter out for lunch. So I went home, took a shower and headed out to Little Italy with her.

    One of my favorite restaurants in Little Italy was La Puglia. BTW Mercury dimes ended in 1945.

    Hope you both had a great lunch. The weather is beautiful here as well. Cold at night but sunny and in the seventies by noon. Perfect weather for working outdoors or metal detecting. :)

    Yes, damage on the quarter, but interesting damage, anyway.
