I found these two metal detecting in Souther Utah yesterday at a place where I found Indian pottery shards. One of them is half a horseshoe with two nails in it. The other is an old bolt. It isn’t threaded, but it has two lines on the side. I’m new to metal detecting and have a really cheap detector so I’m not an expert on any of this. Does anyone know when these were used or what the bolt was for? Thanks.
