Hello everyone, This morning I started detecting at 6AM. I anticipated the heat later on so my goal was to find at least 1 silver coin then head home! I detected Mccarren Park in Brooklyn NYC.. I found a 1944 Winged Liberty Head Dime around 9AM and a few other goodies. Wheat Cents - One cut in half. Don't know why. Religious Pendant - Not Gold Cool Button with Fancy Design Everything Pictures taken at the park I was started sweating so I left at 10AM
Is that the first half cent you’ve ever found? It’s a little hotter north of me and the humidity is way down from yesterday. It was in the eighties 24 hours ago, 50% this morning and now it’s only 39%. Glad you went early though. Nice finds and you found your silver.
Drink plenty of water and don't stop until you find the Mother Lode paddy. Just kidding, heat can be very dangerous you did the right thing, congrats on your finds.
