It's interesting how many New Orleans Barber dimes from the early 1900s got deposited in New York. I'm imagining them arriving with passengers by boat or possibly train.

Did you dig every blip or did you rely on the target ID's?
I ask because I noticed NO nickels... Figure there would've been a V-Nick in there somewhere...

 

With NY being the "place to be", I'm guessing you're right that they were brought here with passengers. Amazing how many of them were lost too... With 43 years of metal detecting under my belt, I've never found anything Mint marked CC....
