Hello everyone, Yesterday Thursday July 22nd, I decided to take a sick day.. Because I was sick of working! So I did a 7 hour Detecting hunt that started at Crotona Park and ended at St Mary's Park both in the Bronx NYC. 3 US Silver - #62 #63 #64 for 2021 Huge 925 Silver Ring with nice pink stone - A 1800's British Large Penny - 25 Wheat Cents - Everything -
Old Dart and 1976 Matchbox Car Sacagawea and 1961 Canada Cent Misc Fancy Metal and Buttons My third Pencil Sharpener
Heck, who needs 'sick days' when you're sick? Save 'em for when you're healthy and stealthy (don't tell the boss). Bountiful haul old friend..........
Hehe thanks.. And tomorrow Saturday I'm hitting the beach with my nephew who also loves to detect. Far Rockaway in Queens NYC!
Detecto-Man scores again. Your button w/the anchor is a Naval WW2 era style called the Admiralty Pattern (when one of the bars from the stock is turned down). Later issues didn't have button holes. They were attached from the back with a cotter pin type clip. Newer issues looked like this one I saw offered on ebay. Nice digs. https://www.ebay.com/itm/382366877596
More than likely pink cubic zirconia, with clear zircon chips down the side. Somewhat like this one. Being an armed jewelry courier for quite a few years, we used to supply strip mall stores like Zales and The Jewel Box with similar items.
Congrats on another fantastic haul. Enjoy your day out with your Nephew, I think detecting will be less important than spending the day with him.
