    Hello everyone,

I now have 10 US Silver Coins since I started detecting yesterday Jan 1st, 2021 :woot:

I did a 5 hour metal detecting hunt this morning at an old spot that I thought was not going to produce.
But.. They had a temporary dog run that I never was able to detect. Today I noticed the new dog run opened up in another area of the park so I was able detect the old area with great results!

    8 US Silver..
3 - Winged Liberty Head Dimes
    3 - Silver Roosevelt Dimes
    2 - Silver War Nickels

Wow Sir , you've out done yourself today . I knew you would be out today , I had a feeling . Metal detectorists think alike I guess. Now you have to popup a nice 1800's Silver Coin . I like the compact .:hilarious::hilarious:

That buffalo looks like it was dropped when it was still fairly new.

Great digs. My wife was born in 47 and me in 43. I always like those.

    Thanks!
It was gorgeous outside this morning!
And I could of found more but at noon I decided to head back home because I promised my daughter we were going out to some of her favorite places in the City.

    This is the park.
Corlears Hook Park in Lower Manhattan
The 3 fields I detected over the summer.. Tons of silver, wheats and clad.
The Area today is on the bottom left of the area indicated. Not the baseball field.

I need that escapement for a rusted old clock. ;)
Once again, the game is afoot with treasure the end result.
    Nice picks, Ed. :)

Don't say that...it happened to me once, just after I flushed it, slipped right out of my jacket pocket... one split second more and it would have been gone...took it apart and packed it in rice for a couple of days and it was fine. Fortunately it was #1 and not #2 in the toilet...

I weight "waterproof" very heavily when I'm shopping for a cell phone. Don't ask me why. (It only happened once, but it could happen again.)

Nice digging! When I retire (some day), I'm going to have to get a detector and start a new hobby extension!
