    Hello everyone,
    Yesterday was a hot one but I got 4 hours in for Metal Detecting at Brooklyn's Prospect Park.

    2 Winged Liberty Head Dimes - Both 1944

    Didn't you recently cover this park? I'm not familiar with it, so maybe it is large enough you are doing small sections that haven't been searched.

    We're accustomed to referring to these as "Mercury" Dimes. You're learning, though. Just be patient. :)

    The darker Mercury looks like it was lost while still AU or MS. Nice find.

    That was funny. Call them as you see them. Both are correct (only guessing) after 80 years Mercury works for me
