Last weekend my wife and I drove to Fayetteville AR for my son in laws graduation. They will soon be moving for his new job. Right before we got there my daughter sends me a text with a picture of a 1941 D Mercury dime my gran daughter found while playing in the yard. In great shape considering. There house was built in the early 40's so I have to assume it was just laying there since then. It is not worth much more than melt value so I gave my gran daughter $3 for the dime, which she later on used for a large chocolate chip cookie. She knows how much I like coins so at first she would not let me look at it...the little stinker.

I just thought this was a pretty cool find. Later on I asked her to take me where she found the coin and sad to say nothing more.

Look closely, maybe it's the tough DDO & DDR! Nice story.
