    Early Dated Coins

"AN ONLINE EXPANSION OF THE FREY CATALOGUE OF DATED EUROPEAN COINAGE BEFORE 1501
With additional coins not included by Frey from numerous catalogues through 1530 as are found and identified."

An important web site by Sean Breazeal who also contributed to the newly released book The Early Dated Coins of Europe, 1234-1500 - by Robert Levinson. The site contains coins issued by all of the European nations of the time complete with photographs of most of them. There are also many realized auction prices for many examples. For collectors of medieval coinage this site will be indespensible. I also suggest that collectors obtain a copy of this book, and soon. It is getting rather hard to find and is the only book there is on the subject.
