It has worked for me before but sometimes I am just seeing something that is not there, so it is a gamble. Even if I am seeing things that aren't there, I usually end up with some really nice Lincoln Cents. In fact, I have picked up some early Lincoln Cents that appeared to be darkly toned MS-60's from the Auction pictures, that were actually beautifully toned MS-64's and MS-65's.
