Maybe an arabian coin?

    I have a friend from Turkey and he show me a coin (images attached), but both of us are not able to discover its identity. He asked some friends on his home country but not a guess. Could you please try to help us? B-1.jpg B-2.jpg

    This seems modelled after an Ilkhanid AR Dinar issued under Uljaytu.
    But because of the execution of the coin and caligraphy i suspect this is a contemporary Anatolian imitation of this. (Which are also collected by some Ilkhan collectors)

    This is certainly an imitation. I am not sure if it is contemporary. It could also be a modern forgery.

    @pirgah.. I consulted the "coinarchives" following your link above. I own 2 coins, a silver and a bronze one. I wonder where they could fit or could they be rare.
