    Brilliant!!! What jumped out at me about my c. 1948 one was how much more in-depth treatment there was for all kinds of (well, mainly Eurocentric) ancient and medieval history. Later editions saw steady erosion on that front.
    But yours takes the palm! Old encyclopedias have an equally serious and fun (if, Sorry, obvious) historiographic dimension.

    Nice, I only joined the club recently myself. However i'm still 5 coins short of completing the 12 caesars set.
