Massapequa Coin Show

Not this time but perhaps someday.....

I actually belong to a currency club that meets in Massapaqua. Have never made a meeting. Long story but a heavy duty club there.

Hope to go, never been to it. I grew up in Massapequa and used to play around in the old "rock quarry" as we kids called it then back in early 70's before they built the sunrise mall!

Well it's 10:30am and I am at the sales podium in the showroom.... so I don't see me making it.

I will be at the Watchung Hills show tomorrow.

My daughter and I had a great time at the show today. We arrived early and signed in, and, in return my daughter received a 2008 Red Book. What is it that all you guys say? Don't bring your Red Book to the coin show? Well here's all these people (good crowd) walking around and perusing the offerings with Red Books tucked under their arms.

Picked up a few things I liked. Met fellow coin talker Mike (raider34) but have still yet to meet the elusive Frank (treashunt). Maybe next time....

 

Glad you havd a good time. Is your daughter a collector? I didnt get to go. I decided to wash my car before going and found out that a pipe to the wall cracked sometime during the winter. Spent most of the day working on it. Hope to have it fixed tomorrow. So the house got my coin money again!
