Soak them in some Orange Juice for a couple of days - to neutrilize the salt water. Take a Beer cooler and a trash can to the car wash. Put some of the coins in the trash can - power wash them. Pour cleaned coins into unplugged beer cooler. Repeat until all coins have been cleaned. You can take a 2nd beer cooler to the car wash for -well - you know -beer.

a rock tumbler and some aquarium gravel will do the trick. put coins and gravel in tumbler with some water and dish soap run and it will clean them up. Ice

 

I agree, the tumbler does a great job on my metal detecting finds.
