Thanks, that and a cool caduceus reverse at 80% of the estimate made me very happy.

 

That was one I was going to go after if Marcus Antonius managed to get away from me (and he almost did, but like Octavian I won in the end).

I was going after the Domitian Alexandrian tet (lot 373), but it went way past my intended high bid. I foolishly thought I could win it for under $1000.

I find myself skipping CNG auctions these days, the prices are so strong it was getting frustrating not winning anything... Maybe I just need more courage and conviction! On the other hand I can keep sitting out and feel virtuous for not bidding against you guys.
