You guys can discuss economics and standard business practices for the various industries all you want (I'd really prefer you did it elsewhere though). But that discussion won't change what the reality is in regard to the coin business. And that reality has already been stated, several times.

So you as an individual can either believe it, or not believe it. But no amount of discussion will ever change what you want to believe.

I didn't read any posts that were discussing changing the system. The op asked what he should expect to pay % cut on high end coins. Personally I gave a very detailed answer explaining why I feel that I have options preventing the majority of sales to be dictated by a coin dealers overhead by using auctions for high end coins, and ebay for the others with stated percentages. The others are talking about what they think or expect. This to me is what I'm supposed to do on a coin chat site. Talk about coins and the business aspects surrounding coins.

I believe GDJMSP's comment was directed at the "getting-off-topic" posts at the end of the previous page, Vegas Vic. However, if it was to be applied to the thread as a whole, I agree with you. GDJMSP may argue that beliefs/thoughts will not change the industry, but I believe he will be left behind holding onto the logic that things do not change as a result of beliefs.
