I had dumped this one into the impossible tub. Then I thought it over and decided to get aggressive rather than just forgetting it. It is very rough but I hope I am correct in calling it - Marcus Aurelius AE Dupondius. 172-173 AD. M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVII, radiate head right / IMP VI COS III, SC below, Jupiter seated left, holding Victory and sceptre. RIC 1065, Cohen 249.
Wait, are you saying that's the same coin, before and after? Either I'm misunderstanding or I think there's been some kind of mix-up (i.e., those can't both be photos of the same coin)
Thank you @Curtis I have so many "before" photos that it looks like I may have posted the wrong one. The one I need to post shows similar before conditions. Everyone, please accept my apology. I will find the actual one and correct the post.
Well, I can't find the correct photo. My file system is not very well structured. So, disregard this study and just consider the rough coin. Again, sorry for the confusion.
