It sounds as if you're describing me to a T. "Brothers of different mothers"! I still prefer XP to the newer software where peripherals weren't considered of virtually any importance. There's virtually no backwards compatibility, printers can't be properly interfaced by the manufacturer to the O.S. which isn't supported any longer (as if it ever was). In my opinion, unless your into "streaming", etc. the newer systems designed for multitasking, but not fully capable, can hardly accomplish anything completely other than social tasking.

My spreadsheets, etc. are still in Lotus and Quattro type formats where data from complex formulas were interlinked between hundreds of spreadsheets, updated by a stroke. Open-Office could read and convert messaging from the multiple Microsoft languages which were version and "package sensitive", unable to be read by "up-dates". Up-grade from FAT32 to NTFS in XP various O.S. "packages" really created a mess, unable to be read by a new version of the same O.S.. I still use many older systems that were task oriented, just can no longer print my results. Regardless, I've purchased new printers hoping to print pages generated in WIN7, 8, 10, Vista32, Vista64, and been told by printer manufactures technicians that only Microsoft personnel can assist. LOL You've done a great task in helping individuals who are in the normal formative process of U.S. coin collecting. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. What are you using for a "browser" in XP, as I.E., Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft, Google, Mozilla, etc. will intentionally destroy/disable the O.S. if updates are allowed? JMHO
