Obv: Humped deer or bull facing left with the sun and moon in the background. Very rare variety with the tail pointing down. 10mm. 0.6g

The area of what is now southern Thailand and the Malaysian state of Kelantan was once an independent Islamic Sultanate. This design of the hump bull or a deer bears strong Southern Indian Vijayanagar influences mixed in with Islamic elements. This iconic coin was adopted as the current official logo of the National Bank of Malaysia. 2015-12-14 15.25.59.jpg 2015-12-14 15.30.20.jpg
