It's on eBya for $12,000. https://www.ebay.com/itm/N-Ferrara-...S-125-96-12HP-Coins-Medals-Nice-/371105550647
Nice old machine. Gotta love 'em... but these days, you can sinter metal with a 3-D printer. And there are job shops who will do it for you.
Too high a price for such a small press. 50 ton is large enough to do a cent or dime sized "coin" in copper or copper nickel, probably something larger in aluminum or pewter. And you can get a 100 ton shop press that will do close to silver dollar size in coinage metals for about half that.

What kind of coins are you going to make, counterfeits? $11,900 seems like a lot for making your own coins. How are you going to get any return on your investment?
All sorts of clubs and businesses produce tokens for advertising and such. You wouldn't make "coins" unless you are a blatant counterfeiter - you'd make original tokens or medals.
Yes. But for $12,000 you could have an outside agency produce such coins, tokens, medals for a fraction of that cost. $100 can probably get you 200-400 coins from an outside token producer.
Where do you think the outside agency gets the equipment to make your tokens? Someone would buy this machine if *they* wanted to be the producer of such things. Most people wouldn't buy this just for themselves!
Michael, if you wanted a unique design I believe the cost to make the dies for that design would be fairly expensive. I know to have specialty dies for my swage press it costs me $900-$1300. And those are fairly simple compared to making and engraving one or more sides.
