Reminds me of an image I've seen before a while back.

 

Hey that's quite cool! Thanks for posting this.

I had actually started out trying to layer with degrees of transparency the Google street view with the engraved images but didn't like the results so I fabricated a different idea about street views replacing the engravings entirely.

 

Now how clever is that? Nice.

 

I hope I can Submit more than one...
