"Lincoln Cents are minted using dies. As the dies are used, they become worn having less detail. Cents minted from early dies will have crisper more defined details than those struck with later dies. Dies wear from the outside in. Thus, the words "In God We Trust" will become blurry before the details in Lincoln's hair. Because collectors prefer coins with clearer details, early die states are preferred." http://www.lincolncentresource.com/Lincoln_Cent_Grading_Guide.html
I posted before I saw the rest of thread. I don't understand why someone would ask for advice and then completely ignore every single piece given... Is this a troll thread?
You're right... it absolutely IS from Wexler's site.... Great sleuthing job, Timmy boy! Now let's be honest, shall we? You've had your fun and a great laugh I'm sure, but you known damn well you're just trolling the board, and have been doing so for quite some time now. You used to post this same ridiculous crap a few years back, disappeared for a while, and somewhat recently returned to live the dream again. We all get bored, I understand that, but surely you have something better and more productive to do with your time.
You will also note that the S on the genuine major 69-S DDO As show in in Paddy's and Wexlers image above) is LOWER than on Rare Tim's coin.
Sorry for not answering questions, I was blocked from logging on. I still cant log on with certain devices. But all questions will be answered when the coins return.
I took a lot of photos and a lot where bad, but the coins have been sent off to the PCGS. Here is a image of LIBERTY. Looks doubled, but that's just me!
That's the last image I'll be posting of my 1969-S. Sorry if it's bad but the results on the slab will be legible.

I read that article when he first published it! I refer to it when looking for real "Major" variety finds..which I don't see on your Cent.
