Notice, it from Philadelphia. It is die deterioration and common from over used dies. They use their dies to the bitter end and then some.

 

Tommy is 100% correct I posted an 2016 72 dime yesterday same effects of a die used till the bitter end. Cool effects though

 

Heater sent me one that was had stretch marks that were really cool. Quite wild in fact.

 

Did you see mine I posted the same and doubling was really cool in the post your pocket change thread

 

I should requote myself and say "striations", not stretch marks, before "someone" corrects me. LOL.

Here's one that I really like I think you'll like it to. They're really stretching the life out of the dies. I think I'll call this one sunrise.
