I was at the American Legion today watching the Masters and won $2103 playing the Maryland Lottery "Racetrax" game. When I cashed the ticket, I got two $1000 straps, one in $50s and the other in $20s. Lo & Behold...the note on the top of the $50 strap was a "rare" 2017A Star note!
Wow. Nice icing on top of your very sweet cake, there. I just won two bucks on a scratchoff. Does that count? I spend $1-5 maybe two or three times a year at most. Not a big gambler. I did hit $500 on a $2 scratchoff once upon a time, and $100 another time. The other wins have been peanuts. But fun, of course. I figure with that $500 payout, I'm still ahead, if you count what little I've spent on lotto over the past two decades.

I have no idea who actually pays a premium for late date Star notes, but I pull them out of circulation whenever I find them...especially crisp, Unc examples like this one. I play Fantasy Golf and I have Corey Connors on my team. He hit a Hole-in-One on #6 yesterday and I bought a round for the bar...Karma.
