The SLQ and the Seated Dime was found metal detecting and the SLQ carried for a few years as a pocket piece, the second Peace was a pocket piece carried by a relative while in the Army during WWII and then mounted on a belt buckle after the war. The other dollars were also carried as pocket pieces during WWII and then carried for years after the war.

WOW! That is really, REALLY COOL!!!
The reason I was thinking rock tumbler is that there is a guy on Ebay that always has extreme low ball coins and they always look exactly the same with the really rounded rims. Rock Tumbler is a complete guess to what he is doing and I was hoping that you would confirm my theory. Your account of the coins makes my day! My dad was also WWII Army- Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, Bougainville, take care of those coins!!!

This is the Reverse of the dateless, rounded edge Peace Dollar. Being it was made into a belt buckle later on, apparently, it worn faster than having it in his pocket. S MM also.

The last number looks like it could be a 5 or 6.
It has lost over a gram, weighing in at 11.41g

Junk silver purchase, looks like honest wear and I had to take it home.

These are about as worn as you can get lol. Widow's Mites, nearly 2100 years old.

While the date isn't readable, the coin is totally identifiable because of the lack of shield on the reverse. An 1859 Indian Head Cent.
