What is the most worn-down lowball coin you have? I will be posting mine later, have no time now (it's an 1854 seated quarter with arrows) but what is your best lowball coin? Note that damaged coins or coins where the date is unidentifiable are not lowballs.

This contest is just for fun.

I think I have some that would qualify ;), Some are so worn that they don't have the date though.

I used to carry an old Peace Dollar as my pocket piece, and lost it one day. The coin was nearly unidentifiable, and one of my prized possessions. It used to roll out of my pocket when I climbed into my truck, and I suspect it now belongs to someone who bought one of my older vehicles.

I now carry a Statue of Liberty Dollar in my pocket, and it is wearing quite nicely, but has many more years to go before I'll be satisfied with it.

I did not realize that damaged coins and coins with unidentifiable dates were not low balls. I just learned something new. Thank you. I think. Ha, ha!

Can I show a 6d? This particular one has had a hard life! I have no idea how it could be marked like that and sadly worth scrap value only.

You might have noticed this post earlier in the thread. I would like to tell you guys that I will be sending it off to SGS for grading. What do you think they'll give it? XF? AU?

The post is right above the dateless SLQ post.

Guess I'll give up trying to find a date on my slq;), here's a dime where the date is one of the few things that can still be seen....

That is actually surprising to me seeing an 1891 seated dime this used up.
