Low ball Carson City, will she grade?

    I think fr02. It won't get poor. I wouldn't buy that or send it in. The obverse is a notch higher than the reverse. They will likely grade that by its obverse since that will be the part showing. My favorite coin grade is fr02. I look at these a lot. I also look for ones that will CAC. Coins like this won't get CAC if both sides aren't strong in the grade on the slab.

    And yes I have seen some po01 coins go for hundreds over what they should. Most people don't want them but the ones that do will pay big. I saw a kennedy half im sure was artificially worn to po01 sell raw for 350 something. And it probably wouldn't straight grade.

    Just checked, sold for $76.
    Looking at it again, looks original, but low eye appeal even for the grade imo, so I'm thinking strong price for a coin that probably wouldn't make "lowball".
