:hail:I just love this coin. When I saw it I just had to have it....I hope it is worth the money. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140346783724&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Not sure if it's a 70 or not (likely not if NNC did the grading), but you couldn't have done too bad given the amount of silver in it. Over an ounce of silver for $37, and a pretty coin to boot. You did fine.
Yea, agreed, never seen that one before. I cant find it in a Krause catalog which is not surprising... BUT NOBODY ELSE MAKES THEM! but I do like it.
Next time look under Turks & Caicos Islands, 20 crowns, for KM#14, 38.7g of sterling silver (1.1509 oz. ASW). With relatively high face value, a mintage of 25,000 business strikes and 22,000 proofs, I would categorize it as NCLT. At today's silver prices the 2008 35th Ed. (middle of p.2066) values it below melt in Unc and barely above melt in proof.
Very nice, you did fine!! Here's mine, I got it for around $10 less than yours but mines is not a proof 70. good for you!
Cool design....I have Pennys with the top left and both right designs, although one looks like it may have been used as a target on a firing range!
That is a really nice looking coin. As to if it's worth the money! Of course it is. And the more you like it, the more it's really worth.
