Last thread I made on this didn&#039;t conclude anything. Some people said maybe, some said enviornmental damage, some said plating... Pictures make it look a bit grainy, but it has better lustre in hand. Also, keep in mind annealing can create a sort of plating. The copper can rise to the surface.
