These rulers were chronicled in Suetonius' <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twelve_Caesars" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Twelve_Caesars" rel="nofollow"><i>The Twelve Caesars</i></a>.
