    I think I'll take... "D"...

Hoping that it has nothing to do with the Bataan Death March of WW2...

Yes, it is a WW2 commemorative.

If you would rather have a Bahamas $2 like the one @lordmarcovan is offering, I would be happy to send you one of those instead.

@Steve66, now that I've read up on the coin's history, it is fine. Thanks again for your generousity. The commemorative will be deeply appreciated.

The first gold ducats of the Dutch type (with a knight holding arrows on the obv, and the square with inscription on the rev) were minted in 1986 by a number of the Dutch provincial mints. Before 1586 some other ducats were minted in The Netherlands, e.g. in 1583 the Holland province minted own ducat to the Hungarian example. Other mints minted also ducats of the Spanish type (with two heads). The first gold ducats in The Netherlands were minted already in 1550s, usually with some Saint or with Emperor in the picture.

As for Haarlem 1572 siege ducat - it's not a real ducat, but a 1/4 thaler struck in gold. It's weight is 3.15 gm, much too low for a ducat. Besides, the Holland countermark on this coin is not genuine. https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=726257
