This contest is now CLOSED. The winner was announced in Post #24.

    Happy New Year, everyone!

In celebration, I will purchase one of the 2023 Coin Calendars created by our own @messydesk, to use for the prize in this contest.

We'll do a random drawing on or shortly after January 4th, in honor of my late mother's birthday.

    Happy New Year

This is my 75th Anniversary of active coin collecting.

My goal is to better organize my collection so that my family won't have a difficult time with it many years from now.

I bought two calendars from John. They do have some lovely coins
pictured. John used one of mine for the month of March. Very honored.
Not entering the contest. Goal for 2023: Learn some more about the
    collection I have.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!

This year I would like to acquire a coin from the medieval times, late Middle Ages. If any one has recommendations for books that I might purchase to begin this hunt, I would appreciate it.

I purchased one of these calendars from John (and it is very nice!!) so if my post is drawn, please give the calendar to @Evan Saltis !

    Happy New year!
My goal is to start putting my graded caped bust dime set together. Most likely lower grades cause I'm definitely on a budget with a newborn! But I will upgrade overtime. And also obtain a low mintage graded cc Morgan dollar for the set.

My goal this year is to finish my Indian Head Cent collection. I am working on a circulated set. Still missing many from 1860-1875.

Happy New Year. My goal this year is to get a few beautiful coins, sell a few coins and attend a few shows. Just put in a membership to the John Reich Collectors Society so I am looking forward to getting the three pubs they do each year and learning a lot more about his coin designs and such.

And in the spirit of whatever, if I win, I'd like to have @Matthew Kruse get the calendar.

I'd give that a like but I hate to see it. Good luck with that effort and the new year.

I'll be shipping the prize to the winner after I return from the FUN show so that you'll still have plenty of time to enjoy the killer 1937 proof half I used for January.

I hope to get a pillar dollar, cob coin, capped bust 50c, and maybe a gold dollar.
My wish? To win that because my other calendar just went out of date....

This year the focus is going to be on just enjoying the hunt. And enjoying the collection as a whole. I have a few new interest that I hope to add to. Mostly to be able to hit a few shows ...see a few old friends...and add to my knowledge as well the collection.

Happy New Year to you all (actually, here in the South that would really be y'all).

Goal this year is simply to continue to sort through some rolls looking for something interesting.

While the calendar has some really nice coins depicted, I now enjoy being able to mostly avoid calendars. Therefore, if I win this, I would like it to go to @Matthew Kruse ; it is good to get organized before college.

Have been on a collecting hiatus for the past four months, but I resolve to jump in fully in February. I could use a calendar to know when February starts.
