    Happy New Year to all.

A new calender for a new year, and a year since having life altering surgery. I'm very happy to still be here. I had an amazing holiday season with my kids and grands surrounding me. That's what it's all about.

As for this thoughtful contest, I'd like @Matthew Kruse to start off his college years on a winning note. So if my name should be chosen, please send Matthew this beautiful calendar.

    Time for the drawing.

    Our lucky number was... 6!

    And Post #6 was by... @Newbee03 !

(Who seems to be on a bit of a lucky streak lately, when it comes to these random drawings.)

@Newbee03 - I have your address, and will share that with @messydesk, who will ship your calendar sometime after he returns from the FUN show in Florida. (I'll be headed there myself, this afternoon- my first attendance in over 15 years.)

Third row, center. Oliver Cromwell… in gold. That’s the one I’d pick!

My fav is the 1488 Philip the Fair Half Noble, but it is an overall, stunning display of coinage.

That’s a very close second for me, particularly now that I notice it’s actually a dated piece.

I’ll bet you a half-noble that that beauty came from the @tibor collection.

Guilty as charged. Very fortunate to have won that coin a couple of years ago. Check the 3rd post in this thread.
