I want that because I don't have one! That's the missing link between my small cent and large cent types. Thanks to @Santinidollar and @TheNickelGuy for the entries! (I really need to get a picture of this coin after cleaning) 1854TypeCentOBV.jpg 1854TypeCentREV.jpg

I want that for @potty dollar 1878 since he doesn't have one.

Really, the Flying Eagle is one of my favorite US coin designs, but I already have one. Actually, it was the first coin I ever purchased (a very, very, very longtime ago). I asked Santa to consider getting me an 1858 FE this Christmas to keep it company (I hope she does!)

    I want it.

Who doesn't need more of these? Beautiful coins!

He hasn't won yet! But maybe it'll happen. We've got a bit more than an hour before the 24-hour minimum passes on this round.

    Oh... that.

I thought @BurrosCoins was congratulating him on winning this round.

Drawing on this round in approximately 45 minutes or so...

However, you did just remind me that I forgot to message @Noah Finney yesterday, after you won Round 8 for him.

So now it's time for the drawing for Round 9- the Flying Eagle cent.

    Our lucky number was... 303.

And Post #303 was by... @enamel7!

    Congratulations, @enamel7!

Please be sure to let us know later when you receive the prize, so I can update the summary in Post #1.

Since you just won Round 9, you only may enter Round 10 if you enter for someone else, but you may return to normal play in Round 11 and beyond.

    So now we come to...

    ROUND 10.

We have moved through all the US coins and now it's time for ancients in the last three rounds.

The prize for this round is a...

Roman Provincial (Caesarea): bronze Æ28 of Severus Alexander, ca. 222-235 AD; Mount Argaeus
    [IMG]

Obverse: head of Severus Alexander right.
Reverse: model of Mt. Argaeus on table.

Æ, 28 mm of Caesarea in Anatolia in Turkey (now the modern city of Kayseri). A somewhat bigger provincial bronze. Ex-David Connors, May 2020.

To enter this round, all you need to do is:

    1. Say that you want it, and
    2. A word or two about why you want it or what you like about it.

Then, sometime after 24 hours have elapsed, we'll do the drawing and move on to the next round.

Or you may of course say you want it for someone else, if you name that person.

Round summary at the bottom of Post #1.
