Congrats on your purchase. :D So what company came up with the creative idea of boxing and selling those? Are they from the Royal Canadian Mint?

No our mint but it's the both of them coming together. This is my first purchase. I went to school in the US and lived with grandparents in Latchford Ontario holidays and summers here is the specifics. 15629731553876190511931203165180.jpg 15629731862381305179654409248022.jpg 15629733100527867281525308643107.jpg 15629734118483144255736419286257.jpg 15629734822018154024350616958632.jpg

the only part of my childhood at can remember is with my grandparents in Canada at least a good memories my time with my father was stressful to say the least so I got a soft spot for Canada even though I couldn't afford to live there and my father sold my grandparents place as soon as my grandmother passed away so I cant go back to Canada anyway had a beautiful place right on the water at a private beach a bay with a dock and a regular dock out towards open water there was a flat Rock right across from the cabin in my grandparents used to let me and my sister canoe over there with the neighbor kids and we set up a tent and they'd be watching us with binoculars but we were allowed to do it and I was so young and stupid I wasn't even afraid of bears you could not catch me doing that now lol. Here are a couple of my favorites especially seeing as how I'm 49 now and I was not 49 in those pictures LOL this is latchford Ontario Canada you think this town population was something like 1200 we had dirt roads the only road that was paid was the one that went through the town towards haileybury in New liskeard 15629754702503238715101088057329.jpg 15629756408268764629689684593259.jpg 15629756747748188225840504467994.jpg 15629757994343522564080907939132.jpg

Garlicus Debt is dumb, cash is king.

I haven’t opened mine yet. I am just going to mark the contents on the box and store them. I’m weird like that.

I do, however, have another two sets on the way from the Mint (currently in Indianapolis), and will open those when they arrive this coming week

There will be another offering for sure. When, I know not, but when the disgruntled guys send back their set because they think they won't grade out as '70s there will be a chance to pick up this offering......but you gotta be quick on the uptake. They won't last long, as the set is quite popular.....happened in 2014 with the baseball coins.

Absolutely, however, when I got one of the late year, second chance at the brass ring baseball coins, it had a spot. So it’s not just the ones that won’t grade out at 70 if you KWIM

Quite true Mike. I picked up a few extra, and the ugliest I turned into a pocket piece. Ain't too shabby with a bit o' wear.....

The weird thing is, most folks don't ask me what it is. They stare a bit, but no inquisition.
